Hi,
I am wondering how the factor for emissions displaced by AD (Coprods, Cell A45) is calculated. Is there a reference available for the value of 20kgCH4/manure utilized? As this seems to drive RNG from AD emissions it would be helpful to understand how this value was determined.
Also could you confirm that avoided landfill emissions are only calculated for organic waste and no other feedstocks (for RNG)?

There is not a lot of information on this topic. The California Air Resources Board has they values which drive hugely negative emissions for AD RNG but the data in Canada is sparse.

Hello,
Do you know if there is a way to "turn off" the emissions displaced by AD in the coprods tab? I have tried to just change the number to zero but the results haven't changed.
Thanks!
Mitchell

This is done in different places depending on the feedstock.
Organic Waste - Input F47
Manure - Coprods A45
Digestate - Input AK and AL rows 279 to 280

Hi there,
Can you please confirm that the 'turn off' cell for emissions displaced for organic waste as a feedstock in v5.01g is still F47 of the input sheet?
Thanks so much
