Difference btwn versions 4.03c and 5.01 for LFG to R-LNG pathway was created by tmathieu
Hi,
Considering this pathway : Capture landfill biogas - Upgrade it into newable natural gas - Liquefy the RNG - Transport the liquefied RNG to the off-taker by truck - Use it in ferries.
How much different (%) would the carbon intensities be between version 4.03c and version 5.01 ? Would it be higher or lower with version 4.03c compared to version 5.01 ? Where would the differences come from ?
Thanks !

You will have to run the models yourself to find the differences. The carbon intensity of the electricity will change over time by the magnitude and direction of the changes will vary by Province. The carbon intensity of the diesel fuel could also change with the mix of crude oils refined.
