Are you able to comment on if the new version of GHGenius (5.02), designed for the BC LCFS will continue to use AR4 or if it will be updated to AR5?

GHGenius 5.02 will have the GWP values from the 2nd IPCC Assessment Report to the 6th AR. The 20 and 100 year values are included and in the case of the 5th AR there are values with and without feedback.
The values from the 6th AR are new to GHGenius 5.02.
The user will have the choice of which set of values to use in the model.
As to which set of values will be used in a revised BC LCFS you will have to ask the Province that question.

Could you please confirm why the value for methane for AR5 is identified as 2013 instead of 2014 and also why the GWP for methane is 30 instead of 28?

Yes, AR5 is identified as 2013 as that is when the initial report was published.
The value of 28 does not include the impact of CO2 after the methane is oxidized.
The value of 30 is the appropriate value for fossil methane, 28 is used for biogenic methane.
This issue was clarified in the AR5 final report.
