Modelling Propane Use in RNG from LFG Pathway was created by rybakovp
Hello,
I'm looking to model propane use for a facility that produces RNG from an LFG feedstock.
I'm not seeing a propane input, so I am thinking of using the LPG (NG) input on the "Alt Fuel Prod" tab as a proxy.
Would this be a reasonable way of modelling propane use? I see that the energy parameters assumed for the LPG are fairly close to those of propane, does the model assume a mostly propane mix for the LPG?
Thanks,
PR

That is exactly what those inputs on the Alt Fuel Production sheet are for.
Yes the LPG is 95% propane and 5% butane.
