Hello,

I would like to calculate the associated emissions with the production of biodiesel produced from canola oil. For that, I want to verify if I am using the correct cells to input the transport distance as follow:

From canola source to canola oil production plant has to be entered in column K82, and
From canola oil production plant to biodiesel plant have to be entered in column L82

Thank you!

That's correct. Do make sure that if you are adding rail transportation in K82 or L82 that you also set K84 or L84 to a non-zero number.

For example, setting K84 to 1.0 would mean that 100% of the canola seed produced is being transported by rail.

In some cases you might have a plant with, for example, 80% delivered by rail and 20% delivered by truck. To model this you would set the total distances in K78 and K82, while setting K84 and K88 to 0.80 and 0.20 respectively.
